Primavera-marinara sauce

Ingredients

2 Onions,small,chopped
1 teaspoon Olive oil
4 Garlic cloves,crushed
28 ounces Tomatoes,crushed
16 ounces Tomato sauce
2 cups Small broccoil flowerets
2 cups Small cauliflower flowerets
2 Carrots,cut in diag. slices
1 tablespoon Parsley,dried
2 teaspoons Leaf basil,dried
2 teaspoons Leaf oregano,dried

Directions

1. Cook onion in oil in large nonstick skillet until softened, about 6 minutes.

2. Add garlic, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, broccoil, cauliflower, carrots, parsley, basil and oregano. Bring to boiling. Lower heat; partially cover and simmer 30 minutes.

3. Serve ½ cup sauce over 1 cup cooked pasta.
