Ritz mock apple pie

| 1¼ | cup | Sugar |
| Apple pie spice | ||
| 2 | teaspoons | Cream of tartar |
| 20 | eaches | Ritz crackers |

Directions
Bring to a boil the water, sugar, spice, and cream of tartar. Add 20 ounces ritz crackers. Boil about 8 minutes. Pour into uncooked pie shell and cover with pastry top.
