3 | mediums | Onions; sliced |
½ | pounds | Mushrooms; sliced |
½ | cup | Water |
2 | cups | Seitan; cubed |
1 | cup | Red wine |
1½ | cup | Vegetable broth |
⅓ | cup | Soy sauce |
¼ | teaspoon | Dried marjoram |
¼ | teaspoon | Dried thyme |
⅛ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
1½ | tablespoon | Cornstarch; mixed w/1/4 c water |
Directions
Place the onion and mushrooms in a large pot with the water. Saute for about 15 minutes or til tender. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the cornstarch mixture. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 45 minutes. Add the cornstarch mixture. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Serve over grains.
