Shore leave picnic loaf

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Italian dressing
1 small Thinly sliced tomato
1 small Thinly sliced red onion
6 Fresh spinach leaves (no stems)
6 slices Turkey
6 slices Boiled ham
1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
½ Peeled thinly sliced cuke
1 Loaf round sourdough bread

Directions

From: Gerald Edgerton <jerrye@...> Date: Thu, 23 May 1996 10:47:05 -0700 Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut slice from top of bread loaf. Remove center leaving ½" shell. Lightly brush inside of shell and top with dressing.

Fill shell with remaining ingredients. Cover top of bread loaf. Wrap in foil. Bake 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into wedges. Serve hot or cold. 6 to 8 servings.
