Shoyu coffee chicken

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
5 pounds Chicken; cut into pieces
cup Shoyu;(soy sauce)
cup Brewed coffee;
1 cup Sugar; =OR=-
SUGAR SUBSTITUTE equal to
1 cup
1 cup Water;
½ Inch fresh ginger root;
=peeled minced
2 cloves Garlic

Directions

Combine all ingredients in an eight-quart pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes. Do not stir. Keep covered and shake the pot once or twice during cooking.
