Spiced beef roast

2 | pounds | Beef stew meat, cubed |
¼ | cup | Flour |
½ | cup | Onions, thinly sliced |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic, minced |
1 | can | VEG-ALL Mixed Vegetables, drained (16 oz) |
1 | teaspoon | Thyme, dried |
1 | Bay leaf | |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | tablespoon | Brown sugar |
1 | cup | Beer or water |
1 | can | Beef broth (12 oz) |
Directions
1. Melt margarine in skillet; brown beef.
2. Add flour and mix well.
3. Add onions, garlic spices, sugar, beer or water, and broth.
4. Place casserole dish in 350'F. oven. Cook 1-½ hours until meat is tender, adding VEG-ALL 15 minutes before completion.
5. Remove whole bay leaf and serve.
