Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 29 oz cans peach halves
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground cloves
¼ teaspoon Grated orange rind
teaspoon Ground nutmeg
teaspoon Ground allspice

Directions

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine syrup, cornstarch, and remaining ingredients in a small Dutch oven; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; add peaches, and simmer 1 minute.

Let cool 30 minutes; then chill.

Great for picnics.
