Steak in mushroom gravy

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Round steak
2 tablespoons Oil; or shortening
1 cup Soup, cream of mushroom
1 small Onion; chopped
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Brown meat on both sides in hot oil in large fry pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover; simmer 1-½ to 2 hours until meat is tender.

TIP: Meat may be cooked whole or cut into serving-size pieces.
