Sujika halwa (semolina halwa)

6 ounces Coarse semolina powder
2 tablespoons Ghee
2 Green cardamom; crushed
½ pint Milk
2 ounces White sugar; up to 3
Pistachio nuts; finely chopped, to
; garnish

Directions

Dry fry semolina over medium heat until nearly brown. Add ghee and cardamom pods and stir for 3-4 minutes. Lower the heat slightly and add milk, bit by bit, stirring in continuously. Stir in sugar and serve, garnish with pistachio.

The consistency of the halwa should be dry.
