Tabasco jelly

3 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
cup Lemon juice up to
6 tablespoons Tabasco sauce plus
1 tablespoon Liquid pectin
Red food coloring; optional

Directions

In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce, bringing to a boil over medium heat. Add liquid pectin. Allow to come to a boil; boil for 1 minutes. Add food coloring, if desired. (The food coloring helps make a prettier jelly.) Pour into sterilized jars.
