Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 ounces Butter
3 ounces Margarine
2 ounces Caster sugar
2 Eggs; beaten
3 ounces Currants
1 tablespoon Ground almonds
8 ounces Curd
Splash of milk

Directions

1 Line the greased tins with pastry. Mash the curds. Add the butter, margarine and caster sugar into a bowl and beat. Add the two beaten eggs, currants, ground almonds and a drop of milk to moisten the mix.

2 Place the filling into the pastry cases and bake for approximately 20 minutes at 190c.
