Tomato sauce for chiles rellenos

Ingredients

| 3 | tablespoons | Onion -- finely chopped |
| 2 | teaspoons | Garlic, minced |
| 1 | tablespoon | Butter |
| 1 | can | (15oz) Spanish-style tomato sauce |
| ⅓ | cup | Water |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Crumbled oregano |
Directions
Saute onion and garlic in butter til golden. Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, and oregano. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 2½ cups.
