Tomato sauce for moussaka

Ingredients

½ cup Finely chopped onion
1 Clove garlic, peeled and crushed
15 ounces Can tomato sauce
6 ounces Can tomato paste minus 3 Tablespoons
2 teaspoons Sugar
½ teaspoon Dried thyme leaves
½ teaspoon Dried rosemary leaves
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Directions

1. Place oil and onions in a deep, 1½-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until onions are tender. 2. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine well. Heat, covered, in Microwave Oven 6 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
