Traditional sausage stuffing

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Bulk sausage
1 large Onion; chopped
4 Ribs celery; chopped
16 ounces Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
cup Chicken broth
¼ pounds Butter
Thyme to taste
Sage to taste
Pepper to taste
1 Egg

Directions

Brown and crumble sausage until cooked. Drain well. In drippings saute onion and celery until tender. Mix all ingredients together until well blended. May be made in advance up to this point.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat stuffing covered for first 30 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, until top is browned.
