Turkey custard

2 | cups | Turkey; cooked and chopped |
1½ | cup | Bread crumbs; soft or 1 cup leftover stuffing |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
Ground pepper | ||
½ | cup | Cheddar cheese; grated |
3 | Eggs | |
1½ | cup | Milk |
⅔ | cup | Corn flake crumbs |
1 | tablespoon | Butter |
Directions
Grease a 2 qt casserole with margarine. Place half of the turkey in the bottom of the casserole. Top with half of the bread crumbs or stuffing. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add half of the cheese.
Beat eggs and milk. Pour half over the turkey layer in the casserole.
Repeat this process. Sprinkle corn flad crumbs on top and dot with butter. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Source: Coupon Saver's Cookbook by Beryl Marton Submitted By MEG ANTCZAK On 04-01-95
