Vanishing oatmeal raisin cookies

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Margarine or butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 cup Firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup Granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
cup All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Salt (opt)
3 cups QUAKER Oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup SUN-MAID Raisins

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350'F.

2. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

3. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add to margarine mixture, mixing well.

4. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.

5. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

6. Bake at 350'F. for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.

7. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
