Venison roast #2

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
Slab of venison about 2 in
Thick
4 teaspoons Bacon fat
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Chopped celery
½ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Chopped onion
2 cups Water (boiling)

Directions

Lay venison on board and pound flour into it. Then melt fat in very large frying pan and brown roast on it. Add all of the seasoning and ½ the water. Cover and let simmer for 55 minutes. Then pour in the rest of the water and simmer until done to taste.
