Watermelon and ginger sharbat

4 | pounds | Watermelon; chilled |
3 | tablespoons | Fresh ginger root; pureed, or more to taste |
2 | tablespoons | Fresh lime juice |
Water | ||
Sugar; to taste | ||
Crushed ice; to serve |
Directions
Cut the watermelon in wedges, remove and discard the rind and seeds. Blend the flesh in a food processor with the ginger and lime juice. Add water if the mixture is too thick. Add extra sugar, if needed. Serve over crushed ice.
