In a saucepan of boiling water frop 5 or 6 tea bags. Turn off the fire and let them stand for ½ hour on the back of the stove. When cool, squeeze tea bags out and throw them away. Pout into an ice tea pitcher. Finish filling with cold water and sweeten to taste. Pour in a tall glass ove ice, add sprig of mint, and serve with a wedge of lemon. Nothin' like it.
For a different treat, cut 2 lemons in slices, add to the pitcher, and let it stand for an hour before serving. Tangy. In a gallon jar filled with fresh water, put 10-12 tea bags. Screw on the lid and let it set i nthe sun for a whole day. Makes a smooth and mellow tea while you busy yourself with your daily chores.
