2 | pounds | Ground beef and 1/4 lb. pork sausage |
1 | Kernel garlic and 1 onion | |
4 | Eggs | |
2 | slices | Bread, cut up |
¼ | can | Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste |
Directions
Sauce: Saute - oil, grated onion, celery and parsley until done, but not too brown. Add tomato paste and simmer, then add tomato juice.
Meatballs: Mix ground beef, pork sausage, garlic, onion, eggs, bread and Parmesan cheese together and form balls. Fry in oil. Add to the prepared sauce and simmer for 1½ hours.
Serve over spaghetti.
