1 | Dried Ancho chili, re-hydrated | |
1 | Yellow onion | |
½ | cup | Peeled garlic clove |
2 | Red bell peppers, roasted and cleaned | |
2 | tablespoons | Olive oil |
½ | teaspoon | Cumin |
⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | cup | Honey |
8 | ounces | Can tomato sauce |
¼ | cup | Ground oregano |
Directions
Method: In a deep skillet, heat olive oil and caramelize onion and garlic cloves. Add all other ingredients, let simmer for ½ hour.
Cool. Puree in blender.
