Baked spaghetti 1

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Hamburger |
1 | Clove Garlic | |
2 | mediums | Onions -- coarsley chopped |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | can | Tomatoes (1 lb. 13 oz.) |
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
1¼ | cup | Water |
1 | tablespoon | Water |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
8 | ounces | Spaghetti |
½ | pounds | Cheddar cheese -- grated |
Directions
Cook hamburger, onions and garlic until meat loses its raw look.
Stir in salt, pepper, and tomatoes. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
Add chili powder and water. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Break half of the uncooked spaghetti into a greased 2 quart casserole, pour on half of the sauce; sprinkle with half the cheese. Break in rest of the spaghetti, add rest of the cheese and sauce. Bake, covered, 35 minutes. Uncover, bake 15 minutes longer or until brown.
