Quantity Ingredient
3 larges Potatoes (or several smaller ones) (up to 4)
Flour*
1 Egg
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Directions

grated the raw potatoes in a food proccessor or use the small holes on a cheese grader.

combine the potatoes, flour*, egg and salt.

*for the flour, use as much needed to make a pancake-type batter in a frying pan put in about an inch of oil and heat until when a drop of batter sizzles.

than drop about 2 Tbs of batter in the oil, smoothing out to make a pancake. and fry on both sides until cooked throught out, but not too browned. the balenies have to be cooked but soft.
