Banana date pudding^

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Chopped dates
2 cups Boiling water
cup Cashews
teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 cup Water
teaspoon Vanilla
2 Sliced bananas

Directions

Pour boiling water over dates, cover. Let stand about 5 minutes then blend smooth. Empty into a saucepan. BLEND smooth remaining ingredients, except bananas. Add to saucepan, lightly boil until thick, stirring, about 10 minutes. Stir in sliced bananas. Po Variations: Add 2 tablespoons cornstarch for a pie filling.
