Barbecue marinade

Ingredients

½ | cup | Onion; chopped |
1½ | tablespoon | Sugar, brown; packed |
1 | tablespoon | Oil, vegetable |
⅓ | cup | Vinegar, cider |
⅓ | cup | Catsup |
1 | tablespoon | Horseradish, prepared |
1 | tablespoon | Water |
¼ | teaspoon | Black pepper, coarse grind |
Directions
Cook onion and brown sugar in oil in small saucepan over medium heat until onion is tender, about 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool thoroughly before adding to beef. Makes about ¾ cup.
