3 cups Rolled oats
cup Milk
¼ cup Raisins
3 Apples; peeled and grated
¼ cup Orange juice
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Plain yogurt
¼ cup Chopped filberts
½ Lemon; grated rind of
3 tablespoons Heavy cream
½ cup Blueberries
1 Banana; in 1/2-inch slices

Directions

Someone requested a recipe for birchermuesli several weeks ago. This is a very good one, from Gourmet magazine, that I have made many times.

Combine oats and milk and let stand for 30 minutes. Soften raisins in ¼ c. warm water for 15 minutes. Combine oat mixture, drained raisins, and next seven ingredients. Whip cream in small chilled bowl until stiff peaks form, and fold into oatmeal mixture. Fold in blueberries and banana slices.
