Chicken and barley stew

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Pearl Barley
½ cup Quinoa
1 Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast; Bite-Sized Pcs
2 mediums Carrots; Chopped
2 Celery; Ribs
½ large Purple Onions; Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic
1 teaspoon Sage
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
20 ounces Nonfat Chicken Broth
Water; To Cover And Additional As Need

Directions

I browned the chicken in a frying pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

Put it and all the other ingredients into the crockpot. I put enough water in to cover everything and checked it every few hours so that it would not cook dry. Cooked it on low about 7 hrs.

It was excellent!!
