Chicken monte carlo

Ingredients

3 | pounds | Chicken parts |
1 | can | Chicken broth (10 3/4 oz) |
1 | can | Stewed tomatoes |
1 | cup | Mushrooms, sliced fresh |
1 | cup | Green peppers, sliced/cut |
½ | cup | Onion, sliced |
2 | Cloves garlic, minced | |
1 | tablespoon | Italian seasoning |
1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
16 | ounces | Noodles, dry |
Directions
Place chicken parts on bottom of crock pot. Add green pepper, onion, mushrooms, and seasonings. Pour stewed tomatoes and chicken broth over top. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, until chicken is cooked and falls off bone. Removed chicken parts from pot to remove all bones, etc., returning meat to pot in bite size chunks. Remove small amount of liquid from pot and mix cornstarch with liquid to form creamy paste, returning mixture to crock pot to thicken sauce.
Cook 16 oz noodles until done, drain and return to large pot. Pour crock pot mixture over, stir to mix, and serve (Shared with love, from Kristin Tremayne) Submitted By KRISTIN TREMAYNE On 01-27-95
