Chocolate turtle brownies

2 | cups | Chocolate chips |
½ | cup | Margarine |
3 | Eggs | |
1¼ | cup | Flour |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
¼ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
½ | cup | Chopped pecans |
12 | Caramels | |
1 | tablespoon | Milk |
Directions
Have come out of the lurking and leeching mode to pass along a tried and true recipe from a Nestle cookbook.
**Melt one cup chocolate chips and margarine. Remove from heat. Add eggs.
Add flour, sugar, vanilla, and baking soda. Stir well. Spread into greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
Microwave caramels and milk in small bowl on high for one minute. Stir and continue until melted. Drizzle over warm brownies. Cool completely and cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
