Crab meat or shrimp quiche

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 9\" unbaked pie shell
4 ounces Grated Swiss cheese
8 ounces (1 cup) crab meat, fresh --
Or canned
3 Green onions -- sliced thin
3 Eggs
1 cup Half and half
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
2 To3 dashes
¼ teaspoon Dried mustard
½ teaspoon Grated lemon peel
1 dash Mace
1 cup Sliced almonds
Tabasco

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Arrange cheese, crab, and onions in pie shell. Combine remaining ingredients except for almonds, beating well, and pour over crab meat. Top evenly with almonds. Bake 45 minutes until set. Allow to stand 5-10 minutes before cutting into wedges. SHRIMP QUICHE Substitute 1 cup cooked shrimp for the crab in above recipe.
