1 | cup | Coarsely chopped fresh cranberries |
2 | cups | Unsifted flour |
1 | cup | Quick cooking oatmeal |
2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
½ | Tap ground cardamon | |
Grated rind of 1 orange |
Directions

In large bowl cream shortening until fluffy. Beat in sugar, eggs, molasses and cranberries. Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured 13x9x2 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and firm to touch in center. Cool in pan and then cut into 1x2 inch bars. Posted to EAT-L Digest by Cecilia <elric01@...> on Sep 2, 1997
