Cream of peanut soup

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Butter
1 tablespoon Minced onion
1 tablespoon Flour
1 cup Peanut butter
1 Qt. Chicken stock
1 dash Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Cream

Directions

Melt butter. Add onion. Simmer until tender but not brown. Add flour and peanut butter and stir to a smooth paste. Add stock gradually. Add seasonings. Cook twenty minutes in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until thickened. Strain and add cream. (Serves 8)
