Cream sauce for chicken divan

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
1 cup Half & half
Salt & pepper to taste
2 Egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tablespoon Whipped cream

Directions

Melt butter in heavy pan. Stir in the flour. Blend well over low heat.

Slowly add half & half, stirring constantly, bringing slowly to the boiling point. Cook 2 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Stir in slightly beaten egg yolks. Fold in whipped cream.
