Crunchy granlola

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Rolled Oats -- *
1 cup Coconut -- * grated
½ cup Wheat Germ -- *
1 cup Nuts -- * chopped
1 cup Rolled Wheat
½ cup Sunflower Seeds
½ cup Sesame Seeds
¼ cup Margarine Or Oil
¼ teaspoon Salt
¾ cup Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Water

Directions

* Basic foundation ingredients; others may be omitted or modified as desired.

1. Mix the nuts and grains (first 7 items) in a baking pan that is 9 x 13 inches or larger.

2. Mix and heat in a saucepan the margarine, salt, brown sugar and water.

Pour over the grain mixture, blending well.

3. Bake in a 325° preheated oven for about 40 minutes until golden and crisp. Be careful not to burn.

4. Cool and store in a jar with a tight lid.
