Crunchy granlola

3 | cups | Rolled Oats -- * |
1 | cup | Coconut -- * grated |
½ | cup | Wheat Germ -- * |
1 | cup | Nuts -- * chopped |
1 | cup | Rolled Wheat |
½ | cup | Sunflower Seeds |
½ | cup | Sesame Seeds |
¼ | cup | Margarine Or Oil |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¾ | cup | Brown Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Water |
Directions
* Basic foundation ingredients; others may be omitted or modified as desired.
1. Mix the nuts and grains (first 7 items) in a baking pan that is 9 x 13 inches or larger.
2. Mix and heat in a saucepan the margarine, salt, brown sugar and water.
Pour over the grain mixture, blending well.
3. Bake in a 325° preheated oven for about 40 minutes until golden and crisp. Be careful not to burn.
4. Cool and store in a jar with a tight lid.
