Ingredients

7 | cups | Oats (reg. or quick) (up to 8) |
1 | cup | Grape-nuts cereal |
1 | cup | Raisins (up to 2) |
½ | cup | Chopped dates and/or other dried fruits |
¼ | cup | Honey, warmed (up to 1/3) |
1 | Jar (10 oz) apricot preserves | |
2 | teaspoons | Vanilla |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon, optional (up to 2) |
½ | cup | Apple juice, optional (makes it crunchier) |
Directions
Stir together oats, cereal, raising and dates.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl and then pour over above mixture.
Spread on 2 cookie sheets sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 for about 30 min.
Stir every five min. and change racks. Cool completely before storing.
Notes: I like to leave big clumps in this. It is tasty alone, as cereal, over yogurt, on nf cottage cheese with fruit.
