Czech \"listy\" celestial crust

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 Egg yolks
1 Whole egg
½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Sugar
½ teaspoon Vanilla
Flour *

Directions

*Enough to make dough almost as stiff as for noodles.

Mix all ingredients well & rest dough under bowl for ½ hour. Roll thin as for noodles; cut in strips 1½ inches wide and 5 inches long. Make two or three slits with a knife thru the center. Fry like donuts in deep fat.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
