Cottage cheese pocket tarts--czech

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Cottage cheese, well drained
1 cup Butter
2 cups Bread flour

Directions

Cream butter until fluffy, add the cottage cheese and blend well.

Work in flour, chill dough thoroughly. Roll on lightly floured board into very thin sheets, cut into squares. Make small squares for dainty cookies, larger ones for the family. On each square of dough, Place a teaspoonful of strawberry preserves or prune filling, or appricot filling, or date-nut filling. Fold over to make a triangle and press edges together with tines of fork. Place on baking sheet.

Bake in hot oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
