Doubly moist chocolate snacking cake

1⅔ | cup | Flour |
1 | cup | Brown sugar |
¼ | cup | Powdered cocoa |
1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Water |
⅓ | cup | Vegetable oil |
1 | teaspoon | Vinegar |
¾ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
½ | cup | Chocolate chips |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine the dry ingredients. Make well. Add all of the liquid ingredients and beat until thoroughly blended.
Pour into 8x8 greased and floured pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top and bake 35-40 minutes or until cake tests clean. Cool and cut into squares. Origin: Sharon's Recipe files. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
