Easy caramel popcorn

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 quarts Popcorn; popped
3 cups Mixed nuts; unsalted
1 cup Brown sugar
½ cup Corn syrup
½ cup Margarine
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon Baking soda

Directions

Spray large roasting pan with Pam; add popcorn and nuts. Place in 250 oven while preparing glaze. In heavy 2 qt saucepan combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat. Without stirring, boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour syrup mixture over warm popcorn and nuts; stirring to coat. Bake in 250 oven, stirring occasionally, 1 hour. Cool, stirring to break apart. Store in tightly covered container.
