English fruitcake (unbaked)

Ingredients

2 | cups | Oatmeal |
2 | cups | Cracked wheat |
2 | cups | Unsweetened grape juice |
2 | pounds | Seedless raisins; chopped fine |
2 | pounds | Seeded raisins; chopped fine |
2 | pounds | Pitted dates; chopped fine |
2 | pounds | Walnuts; coarsely chopped |
Grated rind of 3 oranges | ||
Grated rind of 3 lemons | ||
1 | cup | Honey |
6 | tablespoons | Oil |
1 | tablespoon | Ground cinnamon |
1 | tablespoon | Ground nutmeg |
1 | tablespoon | Ground allspice |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
Directions
Mix together oatmeal, cracked wheat and grape juice. Let stand overnight.
Add remaining ingredients. Blend thoroughly by hand.
Line loaf pans with heavy waxed paper, brush with oil. Pack mixture down into loaf pans, a little at a time. Put heavy weight on top and let stand at least 24 hours. Slice thin to serve. Makes 2 loaves.
Note: Recipe did not specify size of loaf pans.
