This one is to honor Arlene and her girls -- I enjoy the 3 of you so much! From quite a nifty little book, Holiday Favorites -- presented by California Home Economics Teachers.
Great with coffee!
Mix all ingredients except jam together. Put half of the mixture into a 9 x 13" baking pan. Warm the jam slightly, so that it will spread evenly and then spread it over the oatmeal mixture in the pan. Sprinkle remaining oatmeal mixture on the top and bake at 325 F for 30 minutes or until bubbly around the edges. Cut into bars and cool thoroughly before serving.
Makes 2 dozen small bars. Posted to TNT - Prodigy's Recipe Exchange Newsletter by Sherilyn Schamber <sherschm@...> on Aug 29, 1997
