Family tuna scallop

6 | mediums | -size Potatoes; pared sliced |
1 | large | Onion; chopped (1 cup) |
6 | tablespoons | Or 3/4 stick butter; -=OR=- |
6 | teaspoons | Or 3/4 stick margarine; |
6 | tablespoons | Flour; |
1¼ | teaspoon | Salt; |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper; |
3½ | cup | Milk; |
2 | cans | (7-oz) tuna; flaked drained |
1 | cup | Cut green beans; -=OR=- |
1 | pack | Frozen green beans; |
Directions
Partially boil potatoes approximately 10 minutes, drain. Saute onion in butter or margarine until soft in medium-size saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper; cook, stirring constantly until bubbly. Stir in milk. Continue cooking and stirring sauce thickens or boils one minute. Layer ⅓ potatoes, tuna and beans and sauce into 10 cup baking dish. Repeat ot make 2 more layers of each. Cover.
