Faux modeling clay

Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |

1 | cup | Flour |
1 | cup | Water |
½ | cup | Salt |
2 | tablespoons | Cooking oil |
2 | teaspoons | Cream Tartar |
Few drops food coloring; (optional) |
Directions
Add coloring to the water. Mix all ingredients and cook mixture for 3 minutes.
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS: Above clay can be used to make Christmas ornaments.
Roll dough on waxed paper, cut with cookie cutters and punch a hole near the top for hanging. A large sized soda straw makes a good hole. Bake in a slow oven for 40 minutes. You can paint them with tempera colors and glaze them with 1 cup white liquid glue mixed with 1 cup water if you wish.
