Fettucine alfredo - ff

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ pounds Noodles, 1/4-inch wide
¼ pounds Unsalted butter; melted
1 cup Heavy cream; warmed
¾ cup Parmesan cheese; freshly grated
Salt to taste
¼ teaspoon Freshly ground pepper

Directions

Have a large bowl warmed and ready before you cook the noodles.

[Cook the noodles according to package directions.] Drain the cooked noodles and put them into the bowl. Quickly add remaining ingredients, tossing briskly to coat all the noodles, and serve at once.

Variation: Noodles with poppy seeds. Omit the Parmesan cheese and add 3 tablespoons poppy seeds.
