Instructions: ~ Put sugar, 1 pint milk and salt in a double boiler and bring to boiling point. ~ Simmer for 20 minutes.
~ If the pudding is not cooked in a double boiler, stir over very low heat until boiling, then cook for 10 minutes, stirring all the time.
~ Pour into a wetted mold and chill until set. ~ Turn out and sprinkle with a few chopped pistachio nuts.
