Fluffy pink grapefruit frosting

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Egg whites
1½ cup Sugar
1½ teaspoon Light corn syrup
⅓ cup Pink grapefruit cocktail
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 To 3 drop red food coloring

Directions

Makes enough to fill and frost one two layer cake.

In the top of a double boiler, combine all the ingredients except vanilla and food coloring. Place over boiling water and beat with an electric mixer about seven minutes or until frosting will stand up in soft peaks. Remove from water and beat in vanilla and food colouring.

Use immediately.
