Frankfurters with a flair

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Frankfurters |
¼ | pounds | Sharp cheddar cheese |
⅓ | teaspoon | Powdered or bottled horseradish |
½ | teaspoon | Dijon mustard |
1 | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
½ | teaspoon | Steak sauce |
¼ | teaspoon | Onion powder |
2 | 8 ounce cans tomato sauce | |
¼ | teaspoon | Brown sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make a slit lengthwise in each frankfurter. Combine next 6 ingredients; stuff franks. Place franks in shallow baking pan; mix tomato sauce, brown sugar and chili powder. Pour over franks. Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve on a split bun or as an entree with rice, pasta or noodles.
