Fusilli al sugo di fave (fusilli with fava bean sauce)

Quantity Ingredient
10 ounces Fusilli pasta
12 ounces Fresh fava beans
2 Cloves garlic
Tomato puree
Extra virgin olive
Oil
Salt
Fresh basil

Directions

Crush the garlic and saute it in the oil. Add the fava beans and tomato puree. Season with salt to taste, add ½ cup boiling water and cook until the beans are done. Sprinkle with chopped basil. Cook the fusilli al dente and serve with the sauce.
