Garlic + chive sourdough bread

Ingredients

3 | tablespoons | Fresh chives, chopped fine , morm, is fine |
3 | Cloves fresh garlic, chopped fine or minced | |
1 | cup | Sourdough starter |
1 | tablespoon | Yeast [7.5 g, I think] |
1 | cup | Warm water or coffee |
1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Quick oats |
4 | cups | To 5 cups flour |
Directions
Dissolve yeast in water or coffee in glass or ceramic bowl.[or plastic] Add starter, oats and sugar. Stir in 2 cups flour. Add chives, garlic, and and salt. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, until dough handles well and isn't sticky. Knead well, and let rise in greased bowl until nearly doubled. Knock down, knead a bit, and let rise again. When almost doubled, knock down, divide in half, and place in greased loaf pans. Let rise again. Bake at 400F for about 35 minutes.
