Garlic pesto sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ cup Chicken broth (low fat)
½ cup Basil leaves (fresh - loosely packed)
3 Garlic cloves peeled
4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Heat broth to boiling. Combine ingredients in blender or food processor; process until basil and garlic are minced. (Or by hand, use a mortar and pestle: Mash basil and garlic together, then mix with remaining ingredients.)
